Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is one of the leading Voluntary Development Organizations in Bangladesh working at the grass-root level as well as national and international levels. It is the only national NGO in Bangladesh having consultative status with the UN ECOSOC, associate status with UNDPI, and Operational Relations with UNESCO. Along with its multifaceted development activities in different fields DAM has been very active in setting up formal educational institutions and other service establishments.

Ahsania Mission Book Distribution House-Boi Bazaar was established in 1995 & has been working as one of the leading distributors of Foreign & Local books in Bangladesh aiming to promote reading habits enhancing the knowledge level of the educated section of Bangladesh. One of the biggest efforts of AMBDH has been to make available books published worldwide for Scientific, Technical & Professional persons through the institution libraries across the country. AMBDH retail outlet popularly known as Boi Bazaar is helping children to grow up with the reading habit by making the materials available of their choice. Many of the English medium students buy their textbooks & stationeries from Boi Bazar. We have two more outlets. One is at the campus of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and another one is at Ansania Mission College Campus ( Pallabi, Mirpur).
Wholesaling foreign books to the retailers is also a part of our job. We do export Bangladesh-published books to different countries as well. We have published books for school children in the banner of Boi Bazaar.
